Brantford Real Estate Market Update for September 2022

Here is your Brantford Real Estate Update for September 2022 with the statistics from last month for the detached residential homes in the City of Brantford, the North End neighbourhoods, and the West Brant area. *FYI: There aren't enough sales in each of the other individual neighbourhoods in Brantford to be able to provide information that would be a true reflection of what is happening in those neighbourhoods.


The average sale price for a detached home in Brantford has gone up by 3.51% compared to the average sale price for August 2021, but the average sale price is down $156,861 from where it was at 6 months ago. The # of homes sold in Brantford were down 27.43% last month compared to a year ago, but the most obvious stat is that there were 204 active listings of detached homes on the market in Brantford in August 2022 versus only 85 active listings in August 2021. North End

The average sale price in Brantford’s North End neighbourhoods in August 2022 was $706,350, which is down by 8.03% compared to August 2021. There were 8.0% more new listings in the North End neighbourhoods last month but there were 14.29% fewer sales compared to a year ago.

West Brant

The average sale price in the West Brant area in August 2022 was $892,268, which is up by 5.37% compared to the average sale price in August 2021. There were 51.72% more new listings in West Brant last month but there were exactly the same number of sales compared to a year ago.
