Here is your Brantford Real Estate Update for October 2022 with the statistics from last month for the detached residential homes in the City of Brantford, the North End neighbourhoods, and the West Brant area. *FYI: There aren't enough sales in each of the other individual neighbourhoods in Brantford to be able to provide information that would be a true reflection of what is happening in those neighbourhoods.
The homes value in Brantford have gone down by an average of 4.86% compared to a year ago, but the values are down more than 34.17% or an average of $224,449 from where the average sale prices were at during the peak of the market back in February. There were also 33.07% fewer sales last month and there are now excellent opportunities for being able to buy the home you want for a great price! The average sale price in Brantford’s North End neighbourhoods in September 2022 was $732,452, which is down by 10.20% compared to September 2021. There were 14.29% more new listings in the North End neighbourhoods last month and there were 8.0% fewer sales compared to a year ago.
The average sale price in the West Brant area in September 2022 was $755,100, which is up by 4.21% compared to the average sale price in September 2021. There were 12.12% more new listings in West Brant last month but the number of sales dropped considerably with 53.33% fewer sales compared to a year ago.
