Terry's Take on the Brantford Real Estate Market

The statistics for last month show a significant drop in the average sale price and # of sales when compared to a year ago because the month of February 2022 was the hottest real estate market and highest sale prices we've ever had in Brantford. The houses for sale in Brantford are still in high demand and there are opportunities for both buying and selling a home in this market when you are working with a local Brantford real estate agent who has the experience, local market knowledge and expertise to be able to help you and make sure you're in a position to take advantage of the excellent opportunities in this market.

Despite the decline in the # of sales and the average sale price in Brantford, 6 out of The Terry Summerhays Team's last 8 listings at the time of making this blog post have sold for above their asking prices and 1 listing sold for the full asking price. In fact, Terry presented more than 25 Offers for one of our listings on March 1st and that home sold for more than $100,000 above the asking price in less than 1 week on the market. The aggressive Summerhays Selling System we use to market and promote our listings has proven to still be very effective in this market and it continues to put more money into our clients' pockets!
