Here is your Brantford Real Estate Update for January 2022 with the statistics from last month for the detached residential homes in the City of Brantford, the North End neighbourhoods, and the West Brant area.
The average sale price for a detached single-family home for all areas of Brantford in December 2021 was $781,486 which is up by 39.23% or a $220,177 increase in home values in Brantford compared to the average sale price of $561,309 in December 2020, and the average sale price has gone up by $340,744 from 2 years ago!
The average sale price in Brantford’s North End neighbourhoods in December 2021 was $752,322 which is up by 17.85% or $113,947 compared to the average sale price of $638,375 in December 2020. The new listings in the North End neighbourhoods continue to be in very high demand.
The average sale price in the West Brant area in December 2021 was $969,848, which is up by 33.64% or $244,157 compared to the average sale price of $725,691 in December 2020. The new listings in West Brant were also in very high demand last month.

The number of houses for sale in Brantford last month was significantly lower than previous years with only a little more than 1/3 of the number of active listings on the market compared to a year ago.
